Denver Mayor John
Hickenlooper and students opened the new CP Campus with a release of balloons.

One year and a world of difference!
It was one year ago when that the halls and classrooms of CP of Colorado’s new campus on Lowry were full of boxes. The boxes held the books, costumes, adaptive equipment, files and office supplies for the Creative Options classrooms, Statewide Family Support Services program, Employment Works records and more. One year later, everything is in full swing, and it shows in the number of people we’re reaching with support, encouragement and education. In the first year of residence in our new home, we were able to expand the services of CP of Colorado to over 27,000 families throughout the state! This is an increase of over 22%, possible due only to your generous support.

To provide support to 27,000 families is important; more important are the individual lives that represent that number. At CP, we measure our impact in the stories from individuals and families who we are fortunate to know and serve.
The early education program is a clear example of the importance of an inclusive educational setting and the value it provides in teaching children about differences, respecting others and the value of community. This is our definition of inclusion and is one of the core values of CP of Colorado and its programs.
From our home on Lowry, the statewide effort supports families affected by disability, provides quality education for children of all abilities and supports and encourages our next generation of workforce living with a disability.
