UCP’s Statewide Services group is proud to announce partnership with the Guardianship Alliance of Colorado (GAC).
The GAC believes that all persons are entitled to lives of respect and dignity with freedom to exercise their rights and make their own decisions to the fullest extent of their abilities. The mission of the Alliance is to assure that these rights are protected and that appropriate decision-making support is available to adults in Colorado with seriously impaired decision-making capacity.
The GAC’s beloved founder and renowned disabilities advocate, Alice Kitt, passed away recently, and its board members praise the organization’s streamlined partnership as a goal Alice long worked to fulfill.
Working with GAC will further UCP’s mission to provide support and advocacy for medically vulnerable individuals. To learn more, contact Director Christi Romero-Roseth at (303) 228-5382 or visit guardianshipallianceofcolorado.org.
